Supporting Heroes

Supporting heroes are designed to augment (support) your existing army, rather than do lots of damage themselves. The best ones tend to have yellow or green wargear slots as these can be used to boost your units. They typically have tactics that heal or otherwise boost your units, or disable/curse enemies. Archmagos Draykavac, along with the medics and forge lords are very effective at keeping your troops alive. The best talents for these heroes are Second Chance, Psychic Drain and Possessive General (if using disposible units like jetbikes or tacticals). Hero's Guard and Hero's Retinue are always good as well. These are examples of some of the best supporting heroes:
