Defense Heroes

Some heroes are particularly good at defending your base. Defending heroes do not activate their tactic so that is irrelevant. They may have red, yellow or green wargear, which can help boost the hero himself or your turrets/buildings. Draykavac and the forge lords will repair buildings and also curse enemies. Melee heroes tend not to be as good since the hero often dies before they can get in range. The best talents for defense heroes are Hero's Guard, Hero's Retinue, and Psychic Drain. Critical Strike is also good on high-dps heroes. Some of the best defense heroes are:
